Miracles

Thanks to the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy I am now a published comic artist. "Miracles" is a short non-fiction story about my experiences with animals in nature and specifically about an experience with a doe who helped me cope with the loss of my Grandma. Rejections are Good

For much of my life, whenever I would receive a poor letter grade in school, an "I'm sorry but...No" letter from a college or university and now whenever I receive a polite declining letter from any publication, contest or entry/submission to somewhere it would make me feel like disappearing, giving up and questioning my life's purpose. Paris Rejection

My husband and I moved from Chicago to a suburb of Detroit October 1, 2012. I immediately became pregnant and for almost two years bitched and moaned, got fat, gave birth and have since been raising an adorable baby with loads of hair. No I did not have heartburn. It's a myth. all this to say that as an artist, I started to go crazy since I hadn't been producing work.
