My Mom's Birthday Invitations

My Mom turned 60 on May 11, 2017 and my cousin, Jack, graduated from the University of Charleston May 13th. The entire weekend was filled with the joy of celebrating milestones with family. My Mom asked me to make some dinner party invites, so we went to the Paper Source, where she picked out the hot pinks/gold background paper. I painted tulips because they are my Mom's favorite flower.

The Golden Dragon Weeping Willow Tree

The Weeping Willow is known for its flexibility, Adaptability, and Resiliency. The tree thrives under pressure, living in difficult conditions--weathering storms by bending branches to the ground but not snapping. A willow's breaking point extends beyond measure. It is a tree that teaches with "go with the flow" wisdom. It's long branching strands: protect, disguise, inspire and sooth.
