The Michigan AIDS Coalition (MAC) and Honorary Co-Chairs, Gretchen Gonzales Davidson and Ethan Davidson put on the 20th Anniversary of ArtWorks Detroit on Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Alchemy on Rosa Parks Blvd. in Detroit where guests could bid on 150 pieces of fine art, view a fashion show and enjoy amazing appetizers, drinks and live entertainment. All proceeds went to MAC to help provide and address the needs for critical services to those living with HIV/AIDS.
Terry Ryan, CEO of MAC Health, quoted Johnathan Mann (then the head of the United Nations World Aids Project) in his letter to Artworks Detroit guests by writing,
"AIDS will become the magnifying glass through which all of society's ills are revealed; and at the end of the day AIDS will really become about how we have treated one another."
